How to have a Tiny Launch Party

23 October 2013 | 0 comments

Tiny Games is a project founded on a premise: that wherever you are, whatever mood you’re in, whatever you’ve got around you, there’s a game you could be playing *right now*.

So, when we came to plan for the launch of the app, we thought it only fair to apply the same principle to launch events. Rather than trying to organize big things ourselves, we wanted to spread a more inclusive message: that wherever you are, whatever mood you’re in, whatever you’ve got around you, there’s a party you could be having *right now*.

A Tiny Launch Party!

Everyone’s invited and the travel time is zero. You can have a Tiny Launch Party on our own or with friends, indoors or outdoors, wherever the fancy takes you. At some point today, just pick a moment and declare a party. Launch parties in the pub after lectures! Launch parties during a cigarette break at work! Launch parties at family dinner! Launch parties during ad breaks! Launch parties while you wait for your train! All you need as the Tiny Games app – did we mention that it’s FREE? – and a willingness to be a tiny bit happier than you were a moment ago. Just take a tiny break and play a few tiny games and let us know how you get on.

Here’s how we can help:

-  We’ll be partying tonight in London, and yoin us on Google Hangouts – we’ll be patching in live to Tiny Launch Parties around the globe. Watch the stream on YouTube or message us @tinygames for an invite to join the hangout! (and we’ll update this with details throughout the day)

- Print out Tiny Launch Party Hats and play some excellent Tiny Hat games

- Post pictures or videos with #tinygames. We’ll be scooping up everyone’s images and collating them on our Facebook page.

If there’s anything else we can do, let us know on @tinygames. We’d love to find some other Tiny Gamers in your area and help you meet up, or assist in any other way we can!

We’ve only made it this far thanks to the support of our Kickstarter backers, fellow game designers and a small army of family and friends. We don’t want to party without you tomorrow. We want to party with all of you, wherever you are, so take a moment, play a game and let us raise a glass to you in tiny, TINY gratitude.
